What is extended rental?
All subscriptions at Bergen City Bike include an unlimited amount of 45 minute trips. If you want to keep a bike for more than 45 minutes, you’ll have to enable extended rental. That lets you have the bike for up to 6 more hours, at a cost of NOK 5 per 15 minute extension. This means that the maximum trip duration is 6 hours 45 minutes, with a maximum price of NOK 120.
Toggle on and off
- When buying a city bike subscription in the app or on the web, you’ll be offered the option to enable extended rental. That happens in the last step before you pay.
